<p style=”text-align: left;”>Is it possible for patent to get published in 1 month after the request for publication is made? If not then do we have to wait till prescribed period (18 months) ?</p>

Reply to your first question: yes it’s possible but form 9 is filed within expiry of 18 months timeline of ordinary publication.

 

Reply to your second question: if you file form 9, no need to wait for 18 month expiry for getting the application published. IPO will publish the application once it receives form9 request and it will publish the application within a month of filing such request.
