Priority date refers to the earliest filing date in a family of patent applications. Where only a single patent application is involved, the priority date would obviously be the filing date of the sole application.

The priority date is the filing date of the very first patent application for a specific invention.

Carrying out business/trade/financial activity/transaction and/or a method of buying/selling goods through web (e.g. providing web service functionality), the same should be treated as business method and shall not be patentable.
Answer: If everyone will know all about business, then who will do manufacturing? Afterall, Patent Act favours only product and process for industry.
If knowledge of how to do business comes in public domain, then everyone will run after business/trade/financial activity/transaction. Then Patent office will have no work.
Though it should not be the exact answer of your question, by I would also like to know the real answer.

    Thanks for the Question raised.
